Installed [SmartyPants](http://daringfireball.net/projects/smartypants/) on this blog yesterday. Very impressive piece of software. Thanks to John Gruber for creating it and making it gloriously free.

So whenever you see curly quotes, em-dashes and that sort of typographical goodness on the site, it’s all me being lazy and SmartyPants doing the heavy lifting.

To add to the grooviness, it works as a BBEdit and MovableType and Blosxom plugin. Extremely nice.
