Comedy radio

Update: Well, that didn’t last. No more comedy radio.

With a long commute through the clogged freeways of Phoenix, finding good media to listen to becomes of huge importance. Thus I am happy to report that some brave souls have started an all-comedy station so that chuckles can be had while on the road. KPHX, 1480 on the AM band. Good stuff.

On a side note, as a person who hasn’t tuned in to the AM band since, well, forever, I’m astounded by how appalling the sound quality is–it’s like a 24 kilobit mp3 stream. But for comedy, that’s all you need.
