Review: The Broker

John Grisham is at his best when he’s writing about court room intrigue and high-powered wheelings-and-dealings. Unfortunately, The Broker has very little of either.

This novel feels like it should have been the first three chapters in another novel, and spends most of its time in Bologna, Italy, where our protagonist is given a crash course in becoming Italian and also begins to repent his former evil ways.

The Broker is about as dull as that sounds. Avoid.
