What asides plugin did you end up using? Mine still doesn’t support markdown.
Sounds weird you’re not getting Markdown support for your asides plugin—it should be system-wide. Anyhoo, I’m using http://katesgasis.com/2005/10/24/sideblog/ and it seems to work just fine.
Interesting, that’s the one I’m using as well. Although I’m not using 3.0. Perhaps that will fix the issue.
