Dad is older than the glaciers

Having a child reminds you of your mortality in more ways than one.

Talking with Andrea over dinner the other night, she asked me if I watched The Suite Life¹ when I was a kid.

“No, honey.”

“Why?”

“Because it didn’t exist when I was a kid.”

Pause.

“OH! ’Cause it’s in color!”

If you need me, I’ll be in the garage thinking about death.
