But hey, on the bright side, when I watch the evening news that “won’t waste your time,” I can listen to the anchors editorializing about how terrible the car crash was and how sad that the 15 midgets were burned to death. Because, see, if I wasn’t told that things like child abuse are bad things, I might not understand that they are. And then I’d just be shaking babies all day long. So thank you, news media, for keeping us focused on the important things. Oh, and if there could be just a touch more sports, that would be great. And reports on what Paris Hilton had for breakfast. Super. Thanks.
