Her language development has jumped significantly over the last few days. It’s amazing how development plateaus for a while, and then bang there’s a quantum leap. She puts together short sentences now, like “I did it,” “I sit down,” and “I go to Harvard.”

Okay, I made up the last one.

Since she doesn’t know the word for sunglasses, she made up her own. They’re “no eyes,” which when you think about it makes perfect sense…
