Mijailovic trial gets underway

The trial of Mijailo Mijailovic went underway today in a maximum security courtoom in Stockholm.

It looks as though the questions to be decided are whether Mijailovic committed murder or manslaughter–i.e., was the murder premeditated or not–and whether he should be remanded for psychiatric evaluation. Seems like pretty much a no-brainer that he will be remanded. You can’t have the kind of psychiatric history this guy has and not be evaluated.
