The Core Dump

SmartyPants everywhere

Installed SmartyPants on this blog yesterday. Very impressive piece of software. Thanks to John Gruber for creating it and making it gloriously free.

So whenever you see curly quotes, em-dashes and that sort of typographical goodness on the site, it’s all me being lazy and SmartyPants doing the heavy lifting.

To add to the grooviness, it works as a BBEdit and MovableType and Blosxom plugin. Extremely nice.
